VI COMMANDO

Sgt. (US) Wagner served with No.6 Commando until at least 31^st December 1942 when he was reported as MIA during a firefight as a Commando fighting patrol, under Lt. Ferguson, in the area North of Green Hill returned to the Jafna railway tunnel. However, further reports indicate that Sgt. Wagner had in fact been Killed In Action (KIA) during the ambush.
